On Saturday, October 12, 2019, I am hosting a very special Plant-A-Tree event at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary in Redland, Florida. The RESTORE Women’s Wellness Retreat will focus on all aspects of women’s wellness: physical health, mental health, spiritual health, as well as parenting, community, natural environment, and work-life balance. Attendees will experience personal restoration while helping to restore Patch of Heaven’s tropical hardwood hammock forest by planting native trees. Patch of Heaven Sanctuary is a non-profit organization founded on a protected forest and historic site located in the Redland area of Miami-Dade County created to reforest land, conserve existing habitats, and educate the local community.

Please wear comfortable yoga/exercise clothing and shoes for exercise, walking, and planting trees. Bring a towel, a water bottle, and a yoga mat or blanket. The ticket price includes a $25.00 donation to Patch of Heaven Sanctuary’s Plant-A-Tree campaign to purchase the native trees we will plant.
