A Future and A Hope

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”  Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)

Last week, I saw a picture of my son, Zachary, and his new baby daughter, Mia, that inspired me. In spite of terrifying, current events happening in the United States and around the world, I was encouraged to remember God’s plans for me are still plans for good and not for disaster. God’s plan is to give me a future and a hope. And not only for me. God has plans for good for my entire family.

In one week, our mission team leaves for Cambodia. I am inspired that God’s plan for good and not for disaster extends to the children we will serve in that country. I am believing we are bringing hope and facilitating the future by providing health care and participating in strengthening Cambodian Care’s three Light of Future Schools.

While we are gone, I will post pictures on Instagram, Facebook, and I will be publishing blog posts. You can keep up with current happenings by clicking on this link: Latest News
